Minimal stuffing can be used but may not be necessary to add much. Some may find it works just as well without. If in doubt, add a small amount.

ASSEMBLY

Embroider eyes using black embroidery thread and an embroidery needle. For blush, you can use either pink embroidery thread or you can use dry pastel powder (or actual makeup). For adding powder type blush a paint or makeup brush is best.

Position the legs and the tail and distinguish the placement that you like the most, using sewing pins or the like to help hold everything on place to help you gauge how it will look. Using either a tapestry or yarn needle, sew everything in place. If attaching multiple tails, it is recommended to start from the middle and work your way out.

Now time for variations!

Variations:

ROUND TAIL

Round1: 6sc in magic ring (6)

2: 6sc all around (6)

3: (2sc, inc) x4 (8)

4: sc all around (8)

5: (sc, inc) x4 (12)

9: (sc, dec) x4 (8)

10: sc all around (8)

11: (2sc, dec) x2 (6)

12: sc all around (6)

STUBBY TAIL

Row 1 - 9 is the same as the normal and round variations. Finish off either after row 10 (of tail). This will change the width of the base of the tail, as in the part of the tail that is attached to the body.

STUBBY LEGS

R1: 4sc in magic circle (4)

R2: (sc, inc) x2 (6)

Finish off. Leave long tail of yarn for sewing.
